How Does A Guardian Solar Water Heater Work?

• Collect heat whenever it is available.
• Alert the pump when to run.
• Alert the automatic check valve to open, simultaneously.
• Circulate cold water through your solar collector(s), and return the heated water to the tank.

As long as sun is available to provide heat to your water this cycle will repeat itself. If not, the controller turns the pump off, and closes the check valve to prevent heat loss from the tank.
